Every year we release a number of commemorative postage stamps and coins which help promote our work and values. All income received from the sale of stamps and royalties from coins is re-invested back into the Territory.

Announcement of Bank Holiday in BAT

The Commissioner has proclaimed a bank holiday in the British Antarctic Territory to mark the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III. The bank holiday will fall on Monday 8 May, following the Coronation on Saturday 6 May. This will allow those in the Territory to come together to celebrate this historic occasion.
